Field Trips
Brighton Options Field Trips
Field Trip Policies
Field trips are for Options students and their immediate family only.
There are no "drop-off" field trips. Parents/guardians must accompany their children on field trips.
Please look through the information to decide if the field trip is a good fit for your family. Some may have age limits or age requirements.
Some field trips are free, but advanced sign up is required. Many of our field trips have limited space and have a waiting list. Please do not take a spot that you don't intend to use.
Field trips that require pre-payment must be paid to the front desk by cash or check by the posted deadline. We are sorry we cannot accept credit cards, Venmo, or other electronic payments. Please plan accordingly.
The field trip coordinator is a parent volunteer. While I do my best to remind by email, text, etc. it is a monumental task to try to work with venues, parents, students, and coordinate payments. If you sign up for a free field trip, you are committing to attend. Continually signing up and no-showing will restrict your ability to participate in future field trips.
If you need to cancel, please contact the field trip coordinator ASAP. We can do refunds up until we make the payment to the venue. If it's too late, we can often find other families who will buy your tickets.
